Smoking is regulated in public places and in the workplace, but not in private. Because of this, 10 times more people die from second-hand smoke inhaled at home than at work. All age-groups are affected, parents and children alike. It has been scientifically proven that simply ventilating a room does not protect you from exposure to tobacco smoke. So, often without realising it, everyone is breathing in smoke with all of its associated dangers: asthma, cancer, heart disease, premature death, etc.
